Accreditation Self Study Coordinating Committee (ASSCC)Rebecca Pickler (D-2011) trau0047@umn.eduThe Self Study Coordinating Committee is responsible for coordinating all the groups below to review the U of M Program in relation to the standards (http://www.acpe-accredit.org/pdf/ACPE_Revised_PharmD_Standards_Adopted_Jan152006.pdf) and for overseeing the development to of the Self Study Document that is submitted to the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education in August 2009. Also, the ASSCC coordinates the Fall 2009 ACPE On-Site Visit. Accreditation Self Study GroupsEach of the following Self Study Groups is responsible for reviewing a section of the Standards, in detail, and assessing the University of Minnesota's status in relation to the Standards. The Assessment Committee is a standing committee of the College responsible for reviewing and directing data about the effectiveness of our programs to appropriate individuals and committees for response. The Assessment Committee also assist the College in developing appropriate policies to ensure the collection and use of data for continuous quality improvement. Recent projects have implementing curriculum quality surveys of graduates, preceptors and faculty, development of a database to track student progression in the curriculum, development of a course review process and facilitation of a peer assessment of teaching process.
